about the designer & brand
My obsession with creating jewelry began in 2021, when I discovered a local bead store in my hometown of Phoenix, Arizona and fell in love with the feeling of painting pictures with gems. Since then, it has grown into my primary form of self-expression – a tangible way to channel my muses and inspirations and become who I wanted to be.
Growing up, it was my dream to move to Europe. However, after I graduated college, I decided to explore the United States for a year or two, thinking I’d experience as much as possible of my own country before heading overseas for good. That plan grew into something I never expected: a summer in Alaska, an autumn in West Virginia, a sailboat excursion from New Jersey to Virginia, another summer in New Hampshire, a year and a half in Montana, and most recently, a move to Tennessee. I’ve crossed the country three times and visited 40 states, and with each new place, my captivation deepens. Music has been my constant companion – artists like Stevie Nicks, Lana Del Rey, Ethel Cain, Remy Bond, and others whose work mirrors the complicated, romantic mythos of the American Dream.
Eden Americana is the result of my travels – the people I met, the places I saw, and everything I experienced. Like many, I am disillusioned by patriotism, and having been raised Christian, I’m fascinated with how religion has shaped the country, for better or worse. This project doesn’t aim to glorify the nation or uphold illusions of greatness. Instead, it’s a love letter to the characteristics of America that still move me: its wildness, its natural beauty, its diversity, and its ongoing struggle for what freedom truly means.
My work seeks to explore American themes with nuance: not to celebrate blind nationalism, but to honestly reflect on a country that has both inspired and failed so many of us, especially women, minorities, and the marginalized.
There is something here worth seeing. Something worth exploring. And something worth reimagining. I hope you choose to take part in this journey with me of creating the America of our dreams.
Sincerely,
Regan Collins
